Optusnet email issues - resolved?

5 October 2024

As of this morning it appears that Optusnet have retired their own (old and insecure) mail servers in favour of transferring email accounts to The Messaging Company (TMC).

And as our earlier deliverability issue with TMC was resolved some time ago, both our hosted websites and ourselves should once again be able to deliver emails to Optusnet addresses.

On a related note, Chirp now offers domain-based email hosting and can recommend a range of third-party solutions at various prices.
